Boulder Popcorn Popping Instructions
In a 6-8 quart pan with a lid or Whirly Popper, place 3T. of oil- we use canola oil with ½ cup un-popped popcorn in the pan. Place the lid on the pan. Turn on the heat to medium. Wait until you hear popping sounds—start shaking or cranking the Whirly Pop a few times, continue to let the popcorn cook until popping slows—about 4-6 minutes. Remove from heat, pour into bowl. Don’t leave it in the pan or it will burn. Salt and enjoy! Makes 10-12 cups of popped popcorn. Serves 3-4.
